Big Fish 4 Fun
Welcome to BigFish4Fun.com. This site is devoted to the recordkeeping of the big fish we catch long-range fishing out of San Diego, California; although we will entertain big fish caught in other areas as well. The emphasis is on stand-up style fishing, and the methods we use aboard these luxurious sportfishing vessels. Our purpose here is to keep track of the largest fish caught, with several different categories for each species. Our aim is to keep things interesting and enjoyable.
We will also post articles on techniques, rigging, and any new trends that develop in our constantly changing fishery. New gear will be spotlighted here as well, as it is released.
But the true focus of this site is to keep track of the fish we catch under extremely challenging conditions. We have many obstacles to battle along with our finned opponents; such as, anchor lines, sonar domes, rudders & propellers, and other anglers.
We will keep track of the top twenty fish caught in each category so as many anglers as possible, for as long as possible, can see their personal bests on the board.
